About Anxiet-Ease
Anxiet-Ease synergistically combines the wonderful benefits of Kava Kava with the
potentiating benefits of the powerful anti-anxiety herbs Pulsatilla and fresh Lobelia
extract. Night Blooming Cereus slows the pulse and alleviates the rapid heart
palpations often associated with anxiety and panic attacks. This formula reduces
anxiety, nervous irritability, and compulsive thinking and panic attacks. Similar in
action to benzodiazipine drugs (valium, xanax, klonipin, halcion) Anxiet-Ease will
calm and soothe the mind and soul when going through difficult times emotionally
and mentally, yet does not interfere with cognitive function for staying alert and clear.
Anxiet-Ease helps insomnia when the mind will not clam down, yet one is tired or
exhausted. It will help light sleepers by helping one go beyond REM sleep and into
deeper sleep stages where rest and healing occur.
Kava Kava can help one get off alcohol and marijuana use. Anxiet-Ease calms one
and appeals to those who enjoy the effects of alcohol and marijuana.
Anxiet-Ease may help reduce depression if associated with anxiety or severe stress.
Anxiet-Ease can help performance anxiety from activities ranging from lectures to
B-12 with Folic Acid and B6 is indicated for those needing to reduce and/or control
blood homocysteine levels. The formula is beneficial for individuals who currently
have cardiovascular disease, those at high risk for developing cardiovascular
disease, and those simply wanting to maintain a healthy heart and cardiovascular
system. B12 with Folic Acid and B6 is a liquid sublingual that is easily absorbed
and quickly taken up by the bloodstream.
Homocysteine is an intermediary metabolite of the amino acid methionine. It is
naturally produced in most of the body's cells and plays a normal role in many body
processes, including cell and tissue growth, bone growth, and insulin formation.
Adequate supplies of vitamin B12, folic acid and vitamin B6 are required to efficiently
metabolize homocysteine. A deficiency in any one of these vitamins can stop
homocysteine from breaking down into other compounds and cause a buildup.
Hyperhomocysteinemia, the buildup of homocysteine in the blood, can increase the
formation of plaques on the blood vessel walls and cause clogging and hardening
of the blood vessels, known as atherosclerosis. High levels of homocysteine are
associated with a higher risk of coronary heart disease, stroke and peripheral
vascular disease. The American Heart Association strongly advises patients who
are at risk for developing cardiovascular disease to maintain adequate levels of
B12, folic acid and B6 in their diets. A review of ninety-two studies published in the
British Medical Journal, examined the association between homocysteine and risk
for cardiovascular disease in twenty thousand people. The review reported that
with every 5-unit (millimole/liter) increase in homocysteine measured in the blood,
the risk for heart disease went up by 32 percent. Results from the review indicated
strong evidence that the association between homocysteine and cardiovascular
disease is causal.
Research also indicates that there is a direct association between homocysteine
concentration in the blood and the risk of age-related macular degeneration (AMD),
the leading cause of blindness in older Americans. A recent study funded by the
National Institute of Health and published in the Archives of Internal Medicine,
suggests that supplementation with B12, B6 and folic acid may help reduce the risk
of AMD. The study included 5,205 women over the age of 40 who did not present
signs of AMD. The participants were monitored for the development of AMD from
April 1998 through November 2005. Women in the supplementation group had a
34 percent lower risk of developing AMD and a 41 percent lower risk of developing
AMD with significant vision loss compared to those in the placebo group.
B-12 with Folic Acid and B6 is also a great supplement to increase energy levels.
Fatigue is one of the most common symptoms of B vitamin deficiency. B vitamins
supply the body with energy by helping enzymes metabolize carbohydrates, proteins
and fats. Because B vitamins are not stored in the body and are depleted fairly

Proper absorption of cyanocobalamin requires the secretion of a glycoprotein known
as the intrinsic factor from the cells lining the stomach. This B-12 intrinsic factor
complex then travels to the small intestine where it must be absorbed by the ileum
in the presence of calcium. Due to this lengthy process, many individuals are unable
to absorb cyanocobalamin from food and deficiency occurs. Liquid Cyanocobalamin
is absorbed quickly into the bloodstream.
Vitamin B-12 is critical for the production of red blood cells and is required for the
synthesis of DNA during cell division. In tissues with rapidly dividing cells such as
the bone marrow tissues where red blood cells are produced, B-12 is particularly
important. If there is a lack of B-12 during red blood cell formation, DNA production
is disrupted and abnormal cells are formed. This can cause a type of anemia termed
pernicious anemia
B-12 is also important for maintaining a healthy nervous system. Our nerves are
insulated by a phospholipid layer known as the myelin sheath. B-12 is essential for
the metabolism of the fatty acids that maintain this myelin sheath. Over time, B-12
deficiency can lead to irreversible nerve damage and neurological problems. B-12
deficiency in infants can cause severe and often permanent neurological damage.
It is critical during pregnancy and while breast-feeding for women to maintain
sufficient B-12 reserves.
B-12 plays an important part in the production of energy by assisting in the utilization
of proteins, carbohydrates and fats. It is often referred to the "energy vitamin" and
is used frequently by athletes and anyone undergoing intense physical or mental
stress. It can be argued that most driven people living in cosmopolitan areas can
use B-12. Common symptoms of mild B-12 deficiency are weakness, fatigue and
poor memory.
B-12 is also essential for a healthy heart and cardiovascular system. B-12 along with
folate and B-6 are involved in homocysteine metabolism. A deficiency of any one
of these vitamins can cause blood levels of homocysteine to rise. Homocysteine is
an amino acid normally found in blood, but elevated homocysteine levels are a risk
factor for cardiovascular disease.
Those most prone to vitamin B-12 deficiency are strict vegetarians, the elderly and
individuals with malabsorption problems. Several prescription medications also
interfere with B-12 absorption and can lead to deficiency.
Signs and health problems associated with Vitamin B-12 deficiency include Anemia,
fatigue, weakness, constipation, loss of appetite, weight loss, poor balance,
depression, mental confusion, dementia, poor memory, soreness of mouth or tongue,
neurological damage, and numbness and tingling in the hands and feet.
Some people speak of Cyanocobalamin as being not as good or even toxic
compared to Methylcobalamin. This is incorrect. The safety of Cyanocobalamin
has raised concerns due to the fact that cyanide is a component of
Cyanocobalamin, and the cyanide molecule is removed from Cyanocobalamin
when used by the body's cells. Cyanide is also found in many fruits and
vegetables and so humans are always ingesting small amounts of cyanide, and
like in most fruits and vegetables, the amount of cyanide in Cyanocobalamin
is considered to be physiologically insignificant. Cyanide is about 2% of
Cyanocobalamin. There are 20 mcg in a 1,000 mcg dose of Cyanocobalamin.
There is not a risk level for cyanide until you get to 3,175 mcg and more for
a 140# person per day. The EPA allows drinking water from municipalities or
spring water to have up to 200 mcg (ten times that much) per liter of water.
Methylcobalamin is not stable in liquids or water and breaks down and loses
potency quickly, so it is not a viable supplement as a liquid in any brand.
