About Aloe Vera Plus Powder Veggie Caps
Aloe Vera Plus is indicated for anyone experiencing digestive discomfort. It balances
stomach acidity, calms and coats the intestinal tract and soothes irritated mucous
membranes. It naturally improves regularity and is helpful for those experiencing
sluggish bowels and constipation. It can be used to treat gastrointestinal inflamma-
tion, excess acidity, IBS, Colitis, and diverticulitis.
Aloe has anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antioxidant, and anti-proliferative proper-
ties. It contains over 75 active constituents including, saccharides, anthraquinones,
lignins, saponins, amino acids, vitamins and minerals.
It is useful for a wide range of gastrointestinal disorders including ulcers and ulcer-
ative colitis. It stimulates mucus secretion and hydration in the large intestine and
increases peristalsis to relieve constipation and improve regularity. Studies have
also found it to modulate immune function, accelerate wound healing, and reduce
inflammation.
Marshmallow is a demulcent herb rich in mucilage, a gummy substance that forms a
thick gel when mixed with water. It soothes and protects irritated or inflamed mucous
tissues in the intestines and bowel, speeds gastric emptying, and reduces nausea.
Like Marshmallow, Slippery Elm is largely composed of mucilage, which coats and
soothes mucous membranes and calms excess acidity. By increasing mucus secre-
stabilize mood in those with anxiety and depression.
American Ginseng (Panax quinquefolius) is native to North America and was used
in traditional indigenous medicine by tribes such as the Cherokee, Creek, Iroquois,
Menominee, Ojibwa, Pawnn, and Seneca. Its primary uses include enhancing
blood sugar metabolism in both healthy individuals and those with type 2 diabetes,
improving cardiorespiratory endurance during activity, boosting mood and reducing
fatigue. It has a systemic effect to increase vigor, energy and vitality, and is especially
helpful for individuals feeling overworked and rundown. Red Chinese Ginseng
(Panax ginseng) is more warming and stimulating than American. Studies have
shown it to have positive effects on quality or life, physical and mental stress, and
intellectual skills. Traditional Chinese Medicine believes that it replenishes vital
essence and promotes blood circulation. It acts through both the hypothalamus-
pituitary-adrenal axis and through its immunomodulatory activity.
Schizandra increases endurance and mental performance, and has an adaptogenic,
tonifying, and stimulating effect during extreme fatigue. Studies indicate daily
use of Schizandra helps prevent increases in cortisol, nitric oxide and stress
activated protein kinase. It also exhibits anti-depressant activity and is indicated for
depressions related to excessive fatigue and nervous exhaustion.
Cordyceps have been traditionally used as a tonic to improve energy, endurance,
stamina, appetite and sleep patterns. Research indicates they have biological and
pharmacological actions in diseases of the liver, kidneys and cardiovascular system,
and effects on immunological disorders. Cordyceps stimulate production of T helper
cells, TNF-alpha and interleukin 1 production, increase natural killer cell activity,
and prolong lymphocyte survival.
Rhodiola increases resistance to chemical, biological, and physical stressors and
protects the body from stress-induced breakdown. It stimulates the activity of the
neurotransmitters serotonin, dopamine and norepinephrine, helps normalize mood
in depressed individuals, and improves cognitive function.

China, and Korea and has been traditionally used to treat stress, fatigue, debility,
depression, immune weakness and headache. It's also been studied for its positive
effects on lipid metabolism.

mood, and increase mental focus and alertness, especially in stressful conditions. It
has a wide-range of properties that include cardiac tonic, nervine, immune stimulant,
